Recognising the full potential of your data

Our Data Interpretation modules support school leaders and teachers in the interpretation and analysis of digital information, providing invaluable training in how to use data to its full potential and embed it fully into ongoing teaching and learning processes.

The modules are split into three areas:

  • “Getting more from CAT data” enables middle and senior leaders to maximise their use of the data generated by GL Assessment’s Cognitive Abilities Test.
  • “Getting more from surveys” delves deep into the survey data from GL Assessment’s Pupil Attitudes to Self and School (PASS) survey and GL Performance’s  Kirkland Rowell Surveys, the UK’s leading monitor of parental, pupil and staff perceptions.
  • “Getting more from RAISEonline” takes a very practical approach, allowing participants to work with the RAISEonline report for their own school.

Our Data Interpretation modules help to:

  • fully embed the power of data into teaching and learning
  • identify and meet the learning needs of every pupil
  • address whole school strategic planning
  • get the best out of CAT, PASS and/or Kirkland Rowell Surveys.

What modules are available?
It is made up of 9 modules as shown in the table below. Some modules can be taken as stand-alone modules, others require pre-requisite learning. For example, ‘Using CAT Information Effectively A’ must be completed before taking ‘Using CAT Information Effectively B’.
